LegalMike is a legal AI platform used daily by thousands of lawyers and legal professionals in the Netherlands. We're looking for an experienced Rails developer to help build it.
What you'll do
• Design, build and maintain scalable Rails applications
• Own fullstack features from design to production
• Work with our AI engineers on LLM integrations and prompt engineering
• Improve performance, reliability and scalability in production
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews and engineering standards
What we're looking for
• 5+ years with Ruby on Rails
• Strong Rails skills: RESTful APIs, devops, background jobs
• PostgreSQL and relational database design
• Comfortable making architectural decisions
• Product mindset — balances performance, scalability and reliability
• Strong English (our team language)
Nice to have
Legal/compliance or other regulated domains · AI or LLM integrations · Docker, CI/CD, Grafana, monitoring · Hotwire, Stimulus, React
